Transparent Persistence

Java Data Objects (JDO) is a specification to enable transparent persistence of Java objects. The Kodo implementation provides access to relational databases, enabling Java developers to use existing relational database technology without needing to know SQL or be an expert in relational database design.

Solarmetric Kodo

Transmachina was one of the earliest adopters of Kodo in Europe. We have used Kodo extensively in a number of large and small-scale projects and found the technology to more than halve development time and cost.

Training and support

We provide customised consulting services to develop and deploy JDO projects based on Solarmetric Kodo. For cost-effective and portable solutions, we recommend deployment with Apache, Tomcat and MySQL.
